Bringing back my blog and email updates for nonprofit communicators

Happy New Year! I’m back after being quiet on this blog for quite some time.

In many ways, 2019 was a bit of a reset year for me. I pressed pause on a number of activities so that I could re-evaluate them and make necessary changes.

The result? I’m kicking off 2020 with:

  • A new website
  • Changes to the way I work with clients, including new packages and pricing
  • A revised approach to content marketing

When it comes to content marketing, I’m returning to blogging and sending email updates – both of which I had put on hold last September.

My revised approach to blogging and email updates

Since 2010, I’ve been writing content to support anyone involved in delivering marketing communications for nonprofit organizations. This has resulted in a rich library of content on both moflow.ca/blog and the NonprofitMarCommunity.com (the latter made possible by our generous community of contributors).

This year, I’ll be making the connection between the content I publish and my business – the moflow content studio – increasingly clear. I’ll be using my email updates and blog content to address the questions, concerns and pain points that my clients (past, present and potential) are facing – and how I can help.

I’ll still be writing about creating content for nonprofit organizations, particularly in my areas of specialty: storytelling, branding and website content. But I’ll be doing so in the context of my experiences and services as a communications advisor and copywriter. More than before, along with my tips and insights, you’ll be hearing about the packages and services I provide and how you can work with me. So, in 2020, I’ll be featuring content with the following goals:

  • Helping you with content planning and copywriting challenges
  • Helping you with outsourcing
  • Sharing my latest service offerings and updates

And I’ll be publishing less frequently. You can expect a new post on this blog about once a month – occasionally a little more frequently if I have more to share. The Nonprofit MarCommunity will still feature new content, but on a more relaxed basis; I’ll be publishing posts when great content comes in from guest contributors.

Are you interested? You can keep an eye on this blog for updates. Or, if you not yet a subscriber and would like to be notified about new content via email updates, complete the signup form at the bottom of my blog home page.
