Have you ever worked on something so hard and for so long that completing it felt like releasing your baby into the world? I’m feeling that way right now. After months and months of planning, development and design, my first online course, Write Better Nonprofit Websites is now available!

I’ve previously shared my plan to move to more of an online business in 2014, in addition to continuing to offer my consulting/copywriting services. And I decided that an online course would be a great way to help nonprofits deliver great content. I’m now providing an option for nonprofit communicators who might not have a budget to bring in a copywriter, but do have a budget (and desire) to build their own skills.

Write Better Nonprofit Websites is comprised of 12 videos modules walking you step-by-step through the web writing process. If you’re interested in learning more about the course, check out writebetternonprofitwebsites.com.

Are you debating whether now is the right time to tackle your website copy? I’ve pulled together a super-quick three-minute web copy evaluation video to help you review and assess your site’s current content.

In the video, I outline a number of key pages that can serve as indicators of the quality of your web content. And I give you the questions to ask yourself while reviewing those pages.

If your review leaves you feeling like it’s time to update your nonprofit’s website content, I’m excited to be able to now offer you two options. I can do the writing for you, or I can walk you through the process, via my online course!
